Palace Guard Greaves PU - L/XL
Whether you need to defend a kingdom or take on a simple quest, the Palace Guard Greaves from Epic Armoury are an excellent choice. They combine the look of steel armor an comfort of polyurea foam. Steel armor can be heavy and require high maintenance to prevent rust, our Light Kit armors allow you to enjoy the authentic look of steel without the hassle.
Created with weight and comfort of movement in mind, the Palace Guard Greaves grant the fighter amazing agility and protection in combat. The shin guards are lightweight, require no maintenance and are perfect in any weather condition. Polyurea foam is naturally flexible, so the armor can bend to the contours of your body, allowing for a comfortable fit and increased mobility. Significantly lighter than steel armor, these fantasy greaves match the curvature of your legs and will protect the soldier's tibia and knees from harm.
Hand-painted with durable acrylic finish and detailed to look as realistic as possible, the Palace Guard Greaves are a perfect addition to your character's wardrobe.
- Available in Steel Gray color
- Available in sizes L/XL
Fit, adjustment & care
The strap system handles most sizing on its own, but for a closer fit, you can gently reshape the material itself using heat. Apply heat to the inside of the piece rather than the painted exterior, so the material becomes flexible without damaging the finish.
-
Finish: The base material underneath the painted surface is black, so over time, scratches and general wear may reveal this black color underneath.
-
Easy touch-ups: Minor cosmetic damage, such as scuffs or scratches can be simply repaired at home using a primer and acrylic hobby paints (such as Army Painter or Citadel).
-
Leather care: The leather straps should be maintained like any other full-grain leather product, with occasional conditioning to keep them supple and long-lasting.
-
A living finish: Wear and patina are a natural part of your armor's lifecycle and can be expected with regular use, adding to the authentic, battle-worn character of the piece.
