If you are dissatisfied with a product, you may request a refund within 30 days of receiving the item. The product must be returned in its original condition. There are stories being told about you amongst the soldiers. You are the mercenary who has slain over a thousand men. You put fear in your enemies with just a glance of your unique Visored Barbuta. Your aura of darkness freezes the hearts of anyone who looks you in the eye. And your favorite? Someone is saying you made a deal with a devil so that you may never die.

You will never tell them which might be true. Instead, as you sit just beyond the campfire and clean the blood from your Visored Barbuta, you simply listen...and smirk.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Visored Barbuta is a gracefully curved full-helmet with a distinctive visor. The visor is movable and can be flipped up over the helmet. Whether up or down, the visor can be locked in place with a pin-and-chain. The visor has two rectangular eye-slits, flat nose and a large Maltese-Cross breathing-hole. Wrought to follow the shape of the head and reinforced with a low crest from forehead to neck, the helmet is elegant while still being comfortable to wear.

The helmet gives full protection to head except at the throat. The Barbuta was used mainly by the flamboyant Italian mercenaries of the renaissance and was favoured with light troops for the mix of protection and excellent visibility. Made to wear with renaissance style clothes, it has a high-fantasy feel that will fit with a lot of characters.

• This helmet comes with a leather fitting and a foam band for internal adjusting.
