Landsknecht Breeches

Yoremade Landsknecht Breeches by Epic Armoury, lets you stride boldly into the Renaissance of fashion, with plunging slashes, two-tone hues, and the unmistakable flair of 16th-century mercenary style. These are breeches meant to make an impression, be it marching into battle, a tavern, or a noble court.

One of our history-accurate Yoremade items, these breeches are inspired by artwork from the period, manuscript illustrations, and museum artefacts. Crafted from high-quality, brushed wool with a soft cotton lining, they deliver a strong presence without sacrificing comfort. Soldier, showman, or Renaissance outcast, dressing you up in these breeches makes you own the room.

Inspired by Real Landsknecht Attire

Cut to reveal the contrasting material beneath, these breeches adopt a style made fashionable by the late 15th to early 17th-century Landsknecht mercenaries. The flashy two-colour look and full-cut figure are reflective of the style trend for show and boldness at the time.

All from the tiered "puffs" to displaced fabric panels are owed to surviving images and reconstructions. As with the rest of the Yoremade range, they're informed by historical reference, borrowed from surviving clothes, paintings, and archaeological reconstructions.

These pants are not all in style. Made of soft, yielding fabric with plenty of give, they're intended to flow with you, be it dueling, dancing, marching, or schmoozing. The roomy legs offer complete freedom of movement, while the tight upper section cinches up tightly where it matters.

With solid tie-strings at the waist, thighs, and front, you can cinch the fit and tie them to a matching Landsknecht Doublet, by aligned eyelets. If you ever misplace a string, don't worry, Epic Armoury stocks replacements in coordinating red, green, and white.
